How To Embrace Rainy Day Photoshoots – Nick and Madison Engagement

Don’t let cloudy weather damper your day!

If you live in Seattle, you know that the weather can be a little unpredictable. It’s a rainy city, so it makes sense that some of your photos are going to have rain in them…. but bad weather doesn’t mean bad photos! This could be the perfect opportunity for some fun and unique shots!

 

The weather in Seattle is all over the place and can change every 20 minutes. One second it will be a little drizzly, and then the next there will be no rain at all. This is what happened during Nick and Madison’s engagement shoot. It started raining, but then we later got bits of no rain. Instead of letting it ruin the day, we had fun with it! They were also great sports about it.

 

Rain can be a perfect opportunity for some fun and unique photos!

We embraced the weather and took some fun outdoor photos. The umbrellas actually made a cute prop and added an extra little touch to the photos! When the rain started coming down more, we switched it up and snapped some photos inside a brewery nearby for a different vibe. All of their engagement photos ended up coming out great! 

 

So, this is your reminder to not let those rain clouds put a damper on your day. Think of it as one of those “Instagram vs Reality” moments! Embrace the weather and let’s capture those REAL moments, rain and all.
