Why I Love The Larc Hill Wedding Venue

I’ve been in this industry for quite some time now so I’ve seen a ton of wedding venues. I have to say that Larc Hill Vineyard Ranch in Chelan, Washington has to be one of my favorites! Finding a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions of the whole planning process. Your venue is supposed to set the mood and atmosphere of your wedding. So, If you want an outdoor wedding full of scenic beauty (and wine!), Larc Hill Vineyard Ranch is the dream venue! Not only are the views epic, but there are also so many other things I love about this location. Here are a few reasons why!

The view

You know those places that look like a real life postcard? Well Larc Hill lives and breathes the essence of that. Nature surrounds you as you take in the breathtaking views of Lake Chelan, mountains, and the lush greenery of the vineyard. Fun fact: Chelan, WA gets 300 days of sunshine a year!

Getting ready and reception spaces

Now this is a big one for me because as a photographer this space was easy to photograph with so much natural light surrounding us. Getting ready spaces and reception spaces have a tendency to be dark or are painted a certain shade that can really affect the vibe and look of your photos. Because Larc Hill is so clean and bright, it made everyone’s skin tone look gorgeous. Editing was a total breeze because the venue did all the heavy lifting and made everyone look so good!

Texture, texture, texture

Different textures can add so much beauty and depth to a photo. At Larc Hill you get big concrete walls, a big wooden barn door, rolling hills, and rows of vines. And don’t get me started on the subtle textures of nature – here they are legit bountiful. There are so many different places within this space to take a bunch of photos so you have an amazing variety to look at when you want to revisit your special day.

All in one

It’s a one stop shop at Larc Hill, the whole house and venue facilities are available to you for an extended time period surrounding the event. No need to worry about shuttling all of your guests from place to place; here you get to enjoy the shared space together and make it a truly memorable event. Comfy beds, the Sonos system, games on the lawn, BBQs and catered dinners are just some of the offerings available. They’ve made it so that it feels like Larc Hill is your own space so that you can feel relaxed when your big day arrives.

A wedding at Larc Hill Vineyard Ranch is a beautiful and memorable experience for everyone involved – the bride, the groom, the family, and even the wedding photographer! (*raises hand*) I can’t sing my praises enough!
